Cutaneous melanoma (CM) is genetically heterogeneous and classified into four major subtypes—BRAF-mutant, RAS-mutant, NF1-mutant, and triple wildtype (BRAF/RAS/NF1 wildtype)—with the latter often harboring KIT or GNAQ/GNA11 mutations [132,133]. This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and cutaneous mastocytosis.
