To study how NR1D2 affects CRC, we used an in vitro model with three commercially available isogenic cell lines: HCT-116 (p53 wild-type), HCT-116 p53 null (p53 silenced) and HCT-116 p53 mutated (knock-in of mutant at R248W p53 and knock-out of wild-type allele) in which this gene was silenced using siRNA technology. This evidence concerns the gene NR1D2 and colorectal carcinoma.
