We observed increased values of inflammatory markers in patients with sepsis: the mean value of C-reactive protein was 195 ± 121.90 in group 1 and 98.32 ± 97.96 in group 2—a statistically significant difference (p < 0.0001)—the same results for interleukin 6 (p < 0.0001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and Sepsis.
