PDE3A and preeclampsia: Consistent with these findings, our study revealed that miR-196a-5p is upregulated in PE and suppresses trophoblast proliferation and migration by downregulating IGF2BP3, thereby contributing to PE pathogenesis, along with the elucidation of the miR-196a-5p/IGF2BP3/PDE3A regulatory axis, providing novel mechanistic insights into the pathogenesis of preeclampsia (PE).
