These novel adsorbents were applied to the studies of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and the phosphoproteomic results found a discrepancy in protein phosphorylation between amyloid precursor protein (APP)/presenilin 1 (PS1) and MAPT×P301S (microtubule-associated protein tau) transgenic mice in an early stage of AD without showing cognitive dysfunctions. This evidence concerns the gene PSEN1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
