CD274 and psoriasis: This is consistent with recent research findings and points to a new direction for investigating the functions and mechanisms of SMPD3. It is noteworthy that this study not only focuses on SMPD3 but also establishes, for the first time, a connection between CD274, CXCL13, BIRC5, and the development of psoriasis, suggesting that they may regulate processes such as cell activation, inflammation, and apoptosis in the IL-17a and IL-23 signaling pathways.
