To strengthen this hypothesis, we further examined phenotypic annotations in the MGI database and found that mouse models with altered expression of GSPT1 or LPCAT1 exhibit features such as abnormal ovarian morphology, impaired folliculogenesis, hormonal imbalances (e.g., altered estrogen and gonadotropin levels), and metabolic disturbances including insulin resistance and glucose intolerance. This evidence concerns the gene LPCAT1 and Glucose intolerance.
