To determine if the nsp1 proteins could precipitate G3BP1 in the presence of an infection, we infected MA104 cells at an MOI of 0.1 for 4 h, then independently transfected nsp1α, nsp1β, or nsp1γ mRNA, and at 24 hpi immunoprecipitated whole-cell lysates with V5-trap magnetic agarose.
