The results indicated that SGLT2 inhibitors decreased the incidence of adverse events such as sepsis (RR 0.34, 95% (CI 0.28, 0.40), P < 0.0001, I2 = 0%) (Figure 5A), urinary tract infection (UTI) (RR 0.54, 95% CI (0.40, 0.72), P < 0.0001, I2 = 0%) (Figure 5B), and kidney injury (RR 0.72, 95% CI (0.56, 0.93), P = 0.0104, I2 = 0%) (Figure 5C).
