The findings indicated that, compared to the normal group, the AD group exhibited a higher enrichment of several immune cell types, including activated B cells, activated CD8 T cells, CD56dim natural killer cells, effector memory CD8 T cells, gamma delta T cells, immature dendritic cells, MDSCs, natural killer cells, natural killer T cells, type 1 T helper cells, and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (Figure 4A).
