(20), which demonstrates that three-needle electroacupuncture (TNEA) significantly alleviates beta-amyloid (Aβ) pathology and cognitive impairment in 5xFAD Alzheimer’s disease mice by activating transcription factor EB (TFEB) via suppression of the AKT-MAPK1-MTORC1 signaling pathway, thereby enhancing autophagy-lysosomal degradation of Aβ and APP/CTFs, reducing neuroinflammation, and restoring synaptic plasticity.
