The results of univariate Cox proportional risk analysis revealed that low serum levels of GPX4 (p = 0.017), high levels of sTfR1 (p = 0.017), and high sTfR1/GPX4 (p = 0.001), as well as the absolute values of serum sTfR1 (p = 0.004) and calculated sTfR1/GPX4 (p = 0.009) were potential risk factors for COPD exacerbation.
