Pathologically, increased FAP expression has been positively correlated with higher tumor grade and worse overall survival across many cancers, although its prognostic value varies depending on the tumor’s grade and type (Chen, et al. 2017; Jung, et al. 2015; Mhawech-Fauceglia, et al. 2015; Wang, et al. 2014a; Yang, et al. 2016; Gong, et al. 2014; Park, et al. 2015; Park, et al. 2016; Kawase, et al. 2015; Liu, et al. 2015; Lopez, et al. 2016; Errarte, et al. 2016; Miao, et al. 2014; Wen, et al. 2017; Hu, et al. 2017).
