RT-qPCR experiments validated several key genes in the IL-17 signaling pathway, including Jun, Fosb, Fosl1, NFKBIA, TNFAIP3, CXCL2 and CXCL8. The results indicated that the expression of these genes was significantly upregulated in BD, but only Jun, Fosl1, NFKBIA, CXCL2 and CXCL8 showed statistical significance (all P < 0.05) (Figures 6A–G). Here, FOSB is linked to Behcet disease.
