NLRP3 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Therefore, considering role of NLRP3 in tumor microenvironment, on one hand, curcumin can effectively reduce the pro-inflammatory microenvironment of pancreatic cancer by regulating activity of NLRP3 inflammasome, thereby inhibiting tumor progression; on the other hand, activation of NLRP3 may be associated with tumor resistance.
