An analysis of the measured biomarkers revealed that gonadotropins (FSH or LH) were assessed in 44.4% of FHA studies (4/9 (7, 9, 10, 15)), 64.3% of POI studies (9/14 (16–18, 24, 25, 27–29, 38)), and 71.4% of PCOS studies (5/7 (30–32, 34, 35)). The gene discussed is PLOD1; the disease is polycystic ovary syndrome.
