OIP5 and ovarian cancer: Although OIP5-AS1 has been reported to function as an oncogene in several cancers, including colorectal (Wang et al., 2022b), gastric (Xie et al., 2024), and bladder cancers (Wang et al., 2019), it is downregulated in LUAD, as well as in endometrial (Liu et al., 2021) and ovarian cancers (Wang et al., 2022c).
