Based on the results, the treatment with BJT may appear to modulate several cytokines, including IL-1β, IL-4, and IL-17, which are known to play key roles in immune response regulation, skin barrier integrity, pruritus, and inflammation in AD patients, suggesting that BJT’s therapeutic mechanism may involve the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the restoration of immune balance. This evidence concerns the gene IL17A and Alzheimer disease.
