Results revealed that pneumonia (OR 4.904 [95% CI 3.410–6.397]), EVD (OR 5.883 [95% CI 4.513–7.253]), tracheotomy (OR 5.983 [95% CI 4.619–7.348]), PCT (OR 4.332 [95% CI 3.048–5.616]), CRP (OR 6.862 [95% CI 5.127–8.597]), and Alb (OR 4.679 [95% CI 3.610–5.747]) were independent risk factors (Table 2). Here, CRP is linked to susceptibility to pneumonia measurement.
