Similarly, myriocin increased the lethality of PARPi in the p53-deficient BRCA1-deficient ovarian cancer cell line uWB1.289, but not when the cells were complemented with functional BRCA1 (Fig. 5d–f and Supplementary Fig. 5a, b), indicating that the pharmacological induction of NE invaginations could increase the efficacy of PARPi therapy in BRCA1-deficient cancers.
