The incidence of mortality from hematologic neoplasms was markedly higher in the TP53-CHIP carriers than in the noncarriers [myeloid neoplasms: 2.78% vs. 0.15%, P (Gray test) = 8.75 × 10−29; lymphoid neoplasms: 1.30% vs. 0.21%, P (Gray test) = 4.22 × 10−6]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and myeloid neoplasm.
