SLC2A3 and cancer: Our data is supported by the previous finding that GSTP1 modulates glycolysis in triple-negative breast cancer cells.23 SLC2A3, a high-affinity glucose transporter, is frequently upregulated in cancers to support glycolysis.66–70 Our research demonstrates, for the first time, that GSTP1 regulates both the mRNA and protein expression of SLC2A3.
