Our data is supported by the previous finding that GSTP1 modulates glycolysis in triple-negative breast cancer cells.23 SLC2A3, a high-affinity glucose transporter, is frequently upregulated in cancers to support glycolysis.66–70 Our research demonstrates, for the first time, that GSTP1 regulates both the mRNA and protein expression of SLC2A3. The gene discussed is GSTP1; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
