Over the past few decades, a multitude of pro‐inflammatory cytokines were found to be elevated in individuals diagnosed with HF, including CRP, IL‐1, IL‐6, galectin 3, and so forth, which further confirmed the important role of systemic low‐grade inflammation in the development and progression of HF [2, 3, 4, 5, 6]. The gene discussed is IL6; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
