Nanobiological interactions could yield unexpected and very interesting results, such as black phosphorus nanomaterials, which inhibit the intrinsic biological activity of PLK1 kinase on mitotic centrosome instability 23; FDA-approved ferumoxytol for iron deficiency treatment showing anti-leukemia effect 24; and graphene oxide nanosheets, which selectively inhibit the intrinsic biological activity of DNMT3A-mutated leukemia cells 25. Here, DNMT3A is linked to leukemia.
