According to recall responses in blood samples from individuals before and after 2 weeks of vaccination with diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (DTP), one prostate cancer patient and one healthy individual responded with increased frequency of TNF-α+ memory CD8+ T cells after vaccination in the presence of LUR1-6 constructs, whereas IFN-γ expression was not detected in any of the individuals analyzed. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and prostate cancer.
