XFZYD enhanced rt-PA-mediated neuroprotection in rats with thromboembolic stroke. This effect is likely due to the suppression of HIF-1α and TNF-α, which in turn inhibits inflammation (via iNOS) and apoptosis (via active caspase-3). These findings provide scientific support for the therapeutic potential of combining XFZYD with rt-PA in the treatment of Ischemic stroke. This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and ischemic stroke.
