The pathogenesis of CLL is driven by multiple factors such as the genetic mutations, chromosomal abnormalities, constitutive activation of B-Cell Receptor (BCR) Signaling, dynamic interaction between CLL cells and the tumor microenvironment, and the overexpression of anti-apoptotic BCL-2 family proteins (Chiorazzi et al., 2021; Chen et al., 2018). Here, BCL2 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
