Castriconi et al., through their research on the impact of 4Ig-B7-H3 on NK cells, found that the degree of lysis of CHO-K1 cells transfected with 4Ig-B7-H3 by NK cells was significantly lower than that of non-transfected CHO-K1 cells, indicating that the 4Ig-B7-H3 molecule protects neuroblastoma from NK cell attack by inhibiting NK cell cytotoxicity (49). This evidence concerns the gene CD276 and neuroblastoma.
