HMGA2 and pancreatic adenocarcinoma: The absence of a relationship between the HMGA2 expression levels and parameters of cancer aggressiveness in hepatocellular carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas of different sites of origin, muscle-invasive urothelial carcinomas, serous high-grade carcinomas of the ovary, as well as in colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic adenocarcinomas in our study demonstrates, however, that HMGA2 upregulation does not play a clinically important prognostic role in all cancer types.
