ACTL6A and lip and oral cavity carcinoma: A recently published Chinese study by Liu et al. (2024) reported that ACTL6A is significantly overexpressed in oral cancer tissues compared to normal tissues and proposed that tumor factors like E2F7, TP63, and microRNA has-mir-381 regulate ACTL6A expression to promote cell proliferation, migration, and invasion through the WNT and TP53 signaling pathways.
