KLHDC7B and cervical carcinoma: In contrast to our observation that expression of KLHDC7B (Kelch domain-containing protein 7B) is significantly decreased in the presence of E6/E7 of HPVs 80 and 16 (as depicted in Figure 6), Wang et al. reported that E7 from HPV16/18 indirectly enhances KLHDC7B expression in HPV+ and HPV- cervical cancer cells [42]; this difference could be due to the use of different study models.
