Musarin, a polysaccharide peptide isolated from Trametes versicolor powder, downregulated the epidermal growth factor receptor-ras signaling pathway (EGFR-Ras signaling pathway) in colorectal cancer stem-like cells and inhibited the proliferation of CSC-like CD24+CD44+ HT29 cells [15,43]. Here, EGFR is linked to colorectal cancer.
