HSPA5 and endometrial cancer: Likewise, we identified hsa-miR-760, through its target genes, as being related to oncogenic pathways strongly associated with the development and maintenance of cancer, such as protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum, as both the increased expression of glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78) and endoplasmic reticulum stress have been shown to promote growth and invasion of endometrial cancer cells [20], and transcriptional misregulation in cancer [21], which may be linked to epitranscriptomic modifications mainly affecting ribosomal and transfer RNAs.
