Albuminuria (urine albumin–creatinine ratio ≥ 30 mg/g), low eGFR (< 60 mL/min/1.72 m2), and CKD [35] were strongly associated with CHD, stroke, PAD, and ASCVD, highlighting low eGFR (OR: 4.5 to 5.9) (Figure 3a–d, Tables S6–S9 [Supplementary Materials]). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and chronic kidney disease.
