Large-scale family studies have identified associations between preeclampsia and genetic variations in ACVR2 (activin A receptor type 2A), ROCK2 (coiled-coil-containing protein kinase 2), ERAP1 (endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase 1), and ERAP2 (endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase 2) [25,26,27]. Here, ERAP2 is linked to preeclampsia.
