In a large clinical study that included biopsies from 84 patients with FGN [14], 21 with amyloidosis, 98 with other glomerular diseases, and 11 healthy controls, staining for DNAJB9 was found to have a sensitivity of 98% and a specificity of 99% for the diagnosis of FGN.
