NT-proBNP levels, a key marker of heart failure severity, decreased significantly in the CoQ10 group (815.6 ± 957.4 pg/mL) compared to the placebo group (1378.5 ± 1492.4 pg/mL, p = 0.012), suggesting reduced cardiac stress in the CoQ10 group. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and heart failure.
