In another multicenter phase II study assessing neoadjuvant osimertinib for surgically resectable stage I–IIIA EGFR-mutated NSCLC (L858R or exon 19 deletion), 15% of patients achieved a major pathologic response, 48% showed partial response, and 44% experienced lymph node downstaging, despite the primary endpoint not being met [55]. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
