ALK and anaplastic large cell lymphoma: The 5-year survival rates of ALK+ ALCL patients range from 70% to 90%, which is much better than ALK-negative ALCL patients [4,5,6,7,8,9]. These neoplasms are morphologically heterogeneous and five morphologic patterns are recognized: common, small cell, lymphohistiocytic, Hodgkin-like, and composite patterns [10].
