Correlation analysis revealed that METTL3 expression in peripheral blood CD19+ B cells was positively associated with the SLE Disease Activity Index (SLEDAI) score (Fig. 1I), anti-C1q antibody levels (Fig. 1J), and serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα) levels (Fig. 1K), highlighting its clinical relevance. This evidence concerns the gene METTL3 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
