Fasting glucose levels were higher in those with MASH than in those with simple steatosis (P < .05) and normal livers (P < .0001), while fasting insulin and serum TG levels were higher in those with MASH than in those with a normal liver (P < .0001 and P < .01, respectively) and in those with simple steatosis than in those with a normal liver (both P < .05).
