The patient was successfully treated with cyclosporine therapy 150 mg twice a day and prednisone, and no complications were noted; however, partial relapse on remission of cyclosporine was observed. Based on our case analysis and comprehensive review of existing literature, it is evident that there are similarities between CIDP with MN and positive anti-CNTN1 antibodies, but they are not identical conditions. The gene discussed is CNTN1; the disease is chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy.
