These findings that CGB7-high tumors exhibit decreased immune infiltration is consistent with our findings that CGB7 expression is associated with downregulated IFNg signaling, as IFNg is predominantly secreted by activated lymphocytes, promotes tumor infiltration of immune cells such as CD8+ T cells, and is a marker of ICI response (Grasso et al., 2020). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
