On the contrary, CD8+ T cells were characterized by a different feature from CD4+ ones, when we focused on the four subsets, identified by TIGIT and PD‐1 expression (Figure 3H–L): their ability to produce the analyzed cytokines was comparable between GBM and PB samples in all the four subpopulations with the exception of the frequency of IFN‐γ expressing cells in the PD‐1+ TIGIT– and PD‐1− TIGIT– subsets which were higher in GBM compared with PB (Figure 3H). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is glioblastoma.
