TACC3 and glioblastoma: Immunohistochemical staining against FGFR3 was performed in 73 cases and, importantly, overexpression of FGFR3 could be verified in 97% (71/73) of cases compared to a negative staining in normal CNS tissue (n = 5) and in glioblastoma, IDH-wildtype, without FGFR3::TACC3 fusion (n = 24; data not shown).
