Clinical observations suggest cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) reduces seizure frequency in drug‐resistant epilepsy (Holló et al. 2012), and animal studies support the antiepileptic effects of epigallocatechin gallate, vitamin E, curcumin, quercetin, and resveratrol, including prolonged seizure latency, reduced seizure frequency, and mitigation of seizure‐induced pathological changes (Akyuz et al. 2021; Alrashdi et al. 2023; Dhir 2018; Lu and Wang 2015; Upaganlawar et al. 2021).
