Our findings also showed that the C allele of IGFBP-3 A-202C (SNP rs2854744) correlated with higher circulating IGF-1 levels (rs = 0.175, p ≤ 0.001), which were associated with an elevated likelihood of breast cancer (OR= 1.010; 95%CI, 1.006–1.015) (data not shown) [23]. This evidence concerns the gene IGFBP3 and breast carcinoma.
