Firstly, we did not distinguish the impact of different types of B lymphocytes (such as B1 cells and B2 cells) on the risk of developing T2DM and the absolute value of B cells are unknown; Secondly, we did not perform an oral glucose tolerance test, which may underestimate the incidence of T2DM; Thirdly, we did not investigate inflammatory factors other than CRP, such as IL-6, IL-10, and TNF- α; Finally, as the included population are from a retrospective cohort, there may be selection bias in this study.
