The analysis of the association between AD biomarkers and earlier sarcopenia progression revealed that only p‐tau181 (OR 1.24 [1.09; 1.42], p = 0.002) and NfL (OR 1.56 [1.30; 1.91], p < 0.001) were independently associated with the worse sarcopenia trajectory, also after adjustment for baseline age, sex, education, smoking and alcohol consumption, chronic diseases and physical activity (Table 3). The gene discussed is NEFL; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
