CEACAM5 and pseudomyxoma peritonei: Annual abdominal CT scans and serum tumor marker tests (CEA, CA199, and CA125) are recommended for 5 to 10 years.[38] A prognostic study by Sueda et al[49] on 138 LAMN cases, with an average follow-up duration of 61.3 months, showed that 12 cases (8.7%) developed pseudomyxoma peritonei, with an overall survival rate of 94.9%.
